The Catalogue is a project organised by the Bibliographical Society.

Volume One of the Catalogue (Books printed in the British Isles and British America and English books printed elsewhere) was published in 1984.

Volume Two (Continental books to 1700) is nearing completion and publication is expected in the Summer of 1998.
